Crane Technicain
Vacancy Code: CT/09/13
Minimum Requirements:• Qualified Millwright.
• 5 Years crane / lifting equipment maintenance experience.
• Metal processing plant experience would be of an advantage
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Mechanical/electrical experience on technical support, on site repairs and preventative maintenance, panel designing and wiring are essential.
• Overhead crane experience operation and rigging skills.
Position Type: Skilled-managerial
Remuneration: R500k
Vacancy Description:
• Control material wastage.
• Perform risk assessments as required.
• Ensure that workplace is kept safe, that protective clothing is in use where mandatory and that all safety precautions which have been instructed are complied with.
• Complete daily reports and time sheets accurately and timeously, and hand these in to office.
• Take care of all small tools and minor plant in use, and return these to safekeeping at the end of each day.
• Checks that the sub-contractor is carrying out his work correctly on an AD-HOC basis.
• Assist and perform any reasonable assignment as requested by management from time to time out of his/her scope of work.
• Ensure that adequate inspection and tests are carried out and properly documented in line with OHS act.
• Ensure safety standard and safe work practices are adhere to.

Electronic Technician

Minimum Requirements:• Qualified Electrician
• N6 or T3 / Equivalent Qualification.
• 5 to 6 years in a technician position.
• 5 years maintenance experience in process lines.
• Metal processing plant experience would be an advantage.
• Electrical experience on technical support, on site repairs and preventative maintenance, panel designing and wiring are essential.
• PLC fault finding and variable speed drives is essential (Siemens S7, Allan Bradley…)
• Programming of Variable speed drives in a process environment.
• Repairs to electronic cards.
• Fault finding on the drives and replacing the electronic boards as required.
• Be able to design a circuit from start to implementation for upgrading of machinery.
• Communication via device net, Ethernet or profibus

Millwright

Minimum Requirements:• Qualified Millwright.

• Experience on coil processing and blanking press machines would be of an advantage.
